Meet Dr. Nazanin Abbasi, the owner and an essential member of the Mouth Matters team. Dr. Abbasi's extensive knowledge and exceptional abilities significantly contribute to our dental practice in Toronto, Ontario. She graduated from Tehran University in 1989 and successfully managed her own dental clinic until 2013. After relocating to Canada, she excelled in the Canadian Dental Board Licensing Exam at the University of Toronto, showcasing her professional expertise.

Dr. Abbasi's dedication to continual learning is evident in her qualifications in holistic dentistry, CeraRoot ceramic implants, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, and endodontics. A highlight of her career in 2023 was receiving certification from the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) in the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART).

Her area of expertise is in metal-free implant and restorative dentistry, focusing on biocompatible extraction procedures and materials. In Toronto, Dr. Abbasi is renowned as one of the few dentists certified in the advanced CeraRoot implant technique, a pioneering method in holistic ceramic implants since 2011.

Beyond her dental practice, Dr. Abbasi is an active member of both the Ontario Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. She is also known for her humanitarian work, providing dental care to orphanages in Iran. In addition, Dr. Abbasi and her family actively participate in local community initiatives, demonstrating their commitment to social welfare.
